The Vertical Date watch is a tribute to the revolutionary British Hawker Siddeley VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Sea Harrier fighter plane. The Harrier "Jump Jet" changed aviation, equipped with a Rolls-Royce engine and a pivoting Pegasus jet, the Harrier was designed to take off with a distance of only 150 meters, thus changing aviation forever. The watch has a 42mm 316L satin brushed stainless steel case, which houses a 25 jewel ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, which has blued screws, Cotes de Geneve engraving and Novodiac shock protection. The dial of the Vertical Date is black, and has Super-LumiNova markers, a minute track around the perimeter with red hour markings, and has a long date window at 3 o'clock. The hour and minute hands are silvered and filled with Super-LumiNova, while the second hand is silvered. The large crown of the watch is knurled stainless steel. The back of the watch has an engraving of the Harrier, commemorating the revolutionary fighter plane. The Vertical Date comes fitted with a black leather strap with red stitching, and has a Terra Cielo Mare stainless steel buckle. This Verical Date watch also comes with a TCM black nylon Nato style strap. The watch is water resistant to 50 metres.
