Technomarine Abyss 10900, Blue Dial With Rubber Strap

SOLD. Pre owned / used Technomarine Abyss 10900 divers watch. This is quite a rare divers watch from Technomarine, which has several clever innovations. The dial is partially filled with silicon liquid, which makes it easier to read at depths, and also means that it allows the watch case to withstand major pressure without imploding. This watch supposedly has water resistance to a huge 12000 metres. Also the caseback has a separate compartment for the battery, meaning that the whole caseback doesn't need to be removed to allow a new battery to be fitted. The Technomarine Abyss has a 41mm (44mm including crown) 11mm deep, 50mm lug to lug highly polished and brushed stainless steel case, which houses a Swiss quartz movement. The blue dial, which is protected by a mineral glass lens, has luminous Arabic numerals and has a minute track around the perimeter with luminous markers at hour intervals. There are also day and date windows at 3 o'clock. The watch has silver skeleton minute and hour hands with luminous tips and the second hand is silver with a red tip. The Technomarine signed crown is screw in and positioned at 4 o'clock. The watch has a 60 click uni-directional bezel with black markings. This Technomarine Abyss is fitted with a 24mm wide black rubber strap with a large stainless steel Technomarine engraved buckle, and is water resistant to 12000 metres. This watch was originally bought in 2008 and is in excellent condition. The case has the odd light mark and is in great condition. The mineral glass lens is perfect. The rubber strap and buckle are in excellent condition. This watch comes with inner and outer boxes, International warranty card (signed June 2008), instruction booklet and strap tool.
