Steinhart Marine Chronometer II, White Dial, Leather Strap

SOLD. Brand new and unworn Steinhart Marine Chronometer II. This Steinhart watch has a 44mm (49mm including DLC coated crown) 12mm high, 52mm lug to lug black DLC (diamond like coating) coated stainless steel case, which houses a Unitas 6498 hand winding movement. The movement is heavily decorated by Steinhart and can be viewed through a glass exhibition window on the caseback. This watch was professionally coated with black DLC, which is far superior to PVD and quite an expensive process, and is a one off as the Marine Chronometer is only normally available with a stainless steel case. The white dial, which is protected by a sapphire glass lens, has black Roman numerals, has a minute track around the perimeter and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The watch has blued luminous hands and is fitted with a 22mm Steinhart brown leather strap with DLC deployant clasp. This Steinhart Marine Chronometer II is water resistant to 30 metres. This watch is in perfect condition and has never been worn and comes with inner and outer boxes, International warranty / instruction booklet and original hangtag.
