Seiko Astron GPS Solar, Black Dial, Rubber Strap

SOLD. SOLD. Pre owned / used Seiko Astron GPS Solar. This is a solar powered and satellite controlled watch from Seiko and is in excellent condition. Using a GPS receiver the watch synchs with a satellite (usually within 6 seconds) to give accurate timekeeping across 39 timezones. It has a perpetual calendar to the year 2100 so there is no need to adjust the date at the end of the month. Using the crown and pushers it is a very simple task to change time zones manually if a signal is not possible. This Seiko Astron has a 15mm high, 47mm across (49mm with crown) and 55mm lug to lug brushed and polished stainless steel case which houses a Seiko Calibre 7X52 movement. The dark grey dial, which is protected by an anti reflective sapphire glass lens, has silver luminous hour and minute hands, and has a blue second hand. The dial has three sub areas, date at 3 o'clock, SMT (daylight saving) on / off, signal strength and charge at 9 o'clock and second timezone indicator at 3 o'clock. The watch has a timezone hour scale around the perimeter of the dial and has a black ceramic non moving bezel. On the side of the case there is a screw in crown at 3 o'clock and there are round pushers either side and at 10 o'clock. This Seiko Astron comes fitted with the original black rubber strap with a push button clasp, and is water resistant to 100 metres. This watch comes with the original inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, quick start booklets, hangtag, complete user guide CD and an unstamped warranty booklet. This is a mint condition Seiko Astron, which with solar power and satellite timekeeping is a very low maintenance, high accuracy watch. The case has no marks of any note and the sapphire glass lens is perfect. The rubber strap is in excellent condition and the clasp and steel buckle are also in great order.
