Rotary Reversible Automatic, Silver Dial, Leather Strap

SOLD. Pre owned / used Rotary Reversible automatic. This Rotary watch has a reverso style case which is hinged and swivels to allow either the watch dial or the exhibition caseback to be on show. This was originally a feature for polo players so their watch would not be damaged during a match. This Rotary Reversible automatic has a 30mm (33mm with crown) across, 44mm lug to lug and 10mm deep highly polished stainless steel case. The case houses a Swiss ETA 2824-2 25 jewel automatic movement, which is visible through a glass exhibition window. The silver engine turned dial, which is protected by a sapphire glass lens, has silver Arabic numerals at hour intervals. Inside this is a minute track with luminous dots at the hour. The hour and minute hands are silver and luminous, the second hand is silver and there is a date window above 6 o'clock. The main part of the case pulls out from the backplate which allows the case to hinge. On either side of the case there are hobnail areas to allow good grip, on the right hand side of the case the Rotary signed push / pull crown is located at 3 o'clock. This Rotary Reversible comes fitted with a brand new 21mm Hirsch leather strap with Rotary push button butterfly clasp, and is water resistant to 30 metres. This watch is in great condition and has just been serviced so is running great. There are some light general marks on the case and the sapphire glass lens is perfect. As mentioned the strap is brand new and the Rotary clasp has a few light marks. This Rotary watch comes with a wooden Rotary box, Rotary guarantee / instruction manual and Hirsch buckle and pin.
