Oris Flight Timer R4118 Ltd Edition, Black Dial, Brown Leather Strap

SOLD. Pre owned / used Oris Flight Timer R4118 Hurricane limited edition. This watch is a limited edition of 4118 as a tribute to the R4118 Hurricane. This Oris Flight Timer chronograph has a 13mm deep, 43mm (46mm with crown) across, 56mm lug to lug brushed and highly polished 316L stainless steel case. The case has a screwed down engraved back which has a small exhibition window and houses a 25 jewel Oris cal 674 automatic movement, which has a 42 hour power reserve. On the outside of the case there is a hobnail style bezel. This watch has a large crown on the right hand side of the case which controls the inner bezel on the perimeter of the face. The black guilloche dial, which is protected by an anti reflective domed sapphire glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter with luminous dots, and has white line markers at hour intervals. The hour and minute hands are silver and luminous (with Super-LumiNova) and the chronograph seconds hand is also silver. The subdials are small seconds at 3 o'clock and chronograph minutes at 6 and hours at 12 o'clock. There is also a date window at 9 o'clock. Around the left side of the case are round chronograph pushers and in between the push pull crown is engraved for easy adjustment. This Oris limited edition chronograph comes fitted with the original very slightly worn 22mm brown leather Oris strap, which is fitted with a stainless steel buckle and push button fastener. The Oris Flight Timer R4118 is water resistant to 50 metres. As can be seen from the images, this watch is in excellent condition with no marks of any note on the case. The leather strap shows very little wear at all. This watch keeps excellent time and runs great, all the chrono hands reset perfectly. This watch comes with inner and outer boxes, Hurricane R4118 model (slightly damaged) with stand, individually numbered certificate, product manual and service centre booklet and a hardback book on the discovery and restoration of the R4118 Hurricane.
