Eberhard & Co Postillon 8 Jours hand winding watch. This is a brand new and unworn Eberhard & Co watch. The watch has a 40mm (43mm including crown) very highly polished stainless steel case, which houses an Eberhard & Co modified 21 jewel Peseux hand winding movement. The black dial, which is protected by a domed sapphire glass lens, has luminous Arabic numerals and dot markers at hour intervals, has a minute track around the perimeter and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. Between 8 and 10 o'clock there is a power reserve gauge which shows how much power the watch has left, and when to wind it. This watch has an amazing 8 day power reserve, if fully wound, due to a special Eberhard patented winding device. The watch has 2 overlapping winding springs which measure a metre long, whereas a normal wristwatch has only one spring measuring about 30 cm, and this allows for a much longer power reserve. The watch has silver luminous minute and hour hands and is fitted with a black crocodile leather strap with steel Eberhard & Co buckle. This Eberhard & Co Postillon watch has a polished stainless steel caseback, which is fixed by 6 screws, and each watch is individually numbered. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres.
