SOLD. SOLD. Pre owned / used Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn Militare Limited Edition. This Dubey and Schaldenbrand watch is a limited edition of 100 examples and has just been fully serviced. The watch has a curvex shaped 13mm high, 35mm (38mm including crown) 47mm lug to lug black PVD stainless steel case, which houses a 30 jewel Dubey and Schaldenbrand mechanical movement (base ETA 2892-A2), which has a chronometer quality escapement, incabloc shock protection, 42 hour power reserve, is rhodium plated with a Côtes de Genève finish and has blued steel screws. The black enamel dial, which is protected by a cambered double anti-reflective 1.8mm thick sapphire glass lens, has luminous Arabic art deco style numerals at hour intervals and has a minute track around the perimeter with luminous dots at hour intervals. There is a big double date window at 12 o'clock and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The watch has silver luminous "Poires" style minute and hour hands and a silver small seconds hand. The watch is currently fitted with a nicely distressed 20mm green croco patterned leather strap with the original D&S deployant buckle, which suits the watch perfectly. Also included are the original D&S rubber strap, which has split, and a new black leather strap with yellow stitching with black buckle. The watch has a large D&S signed crown which is screw in and has a crown protector. This watch has an individually numbered stainless steel caseback, which is fixed by 8 screws, and is water resistant to 100 metres. This Dubey and Schaldenbrand watch comes without box and papers. This Aquadyn is in excellent condition, the PVD coated case has only a few small marks, as can be seen from the images. The sapphire glass lens is perfect.
