CWC 1970's Remake Mechanical Chronograph, Black Dial

SOLD. Pre owned / used CWC 1970's Remake mechanical chronograph. This CWC chronograph was originally purchased in April 2013 and is in excellent condition, running perfectly. CWC originally made this watch in the 1970's for government contracts with surplus watches being much sought after on the military watch market and this watch was produced to the exact specifications to recreate the original timepiece. This CWC chronograph has an 11mm high (including domed acrylic glass), 38mm across (40mm with crown) and 46mm lug to lug highly polished stainless steel case which houses a Valjous 7760 mechanical movement. The black dial, which is protected by an acrylic glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter with luminous dot markers and Arabic numerals at hour markers. The watch has white luminous hour and minute hands and has a white chronograph second hand. The dial has two subdials, small seconds at 9 o'clock and chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock. On the side of the highly polished case are two round chronograph pushers, inside this is the large crown which is engraved for easy winding. The engraved caseback is screwed down. This CWC chronograph comes fitted with the original dark green fabric "nato" style strap and also comes with a brand new lighter green strap, and is water resistant to 30 metres. This watch comes with original steel box, 3 year warranty booklet and numbered, dated and signed limited edition certificate. This is a great CWC mechanical chronograph, the case is in excellent order, with just the odd very small mark here and there. The acrylic glass lens has a couple of very small marks but is in excellent condition. The strap has some light wear and as mentioned the watch comes with a brand new "nato" style strap. The watch runs perfectly, keeping great time with all hands reseting spot on.
