Certina Alex Criville Chronograph, White Dial With Steel Bracelet

Pre - owned / used Certina Alex Criville limited edition automatic chronograph. This is a second hand but excellent condition Certina Alex Criville chronograph. This Certina chronograph was made as a homage to Alex Criville, the first Spainard to win a 500cc motorcyle Grand prix and the 500cc World Title. It is a limited edition of only 200. The Certina Alex Criville chronograph has a 42mm (45mm with crown) polished 316L stainless steel case, which measures 45mm long and 14mm high, and houses a Swiss Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. The solid screw down case back has the edition number engraved along with the Alex Criville signature. There is another engraving on the caseback, but this does not detract from the watch at all. The dial, which is protected by a sapphire glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter and luminous dot markers. Outside these there is a tacymetre scale. The subdials are small seconds at nine o'clock, chronograph minutes at 12 o'clock and hours at 6 o'clock. There is also a date window at 3 o'clock. The minute and hour hands are black and are luminous, the chronograph seconds and subdial hands are red. The bi-directional bezel has slide rule markings, and turns perfectly smoothly. Around the outside of the case are round chronograph pushers, in between the screw down Certina "DS" crown is engraved for easy adjustment. The Alex Criville chronograph comes fitted with the original excellent quality 20mm (22mm lug size) Certina stainless steel bracelet with double security clasp (with spare link), and is water resistant to 100 metres. As can be seen from the images, this Certina watch is in great condition, with only a few small marks to the case and bracelet. The watch operates perfectly as you would expect, and all the chronograph hands reset exactly to 12. This Certina watch comes with the usual 1 year warranty, the original Certina case and two spare leather straps, one brown leather with a Certina deployant clasp, one original Certina black leather with Certina buckle.
