Buto Diver automatic watch from Terra Cielo Mare. The Buto Diver is dedicated to the "Tower Butoscopica", a tower designed to aid the inspection of the seabed, which was built by the Galeazzi Company in 1929 to designs by Alberto Gianni, probably the most famous Italian diver. The Buto Diver has a satin brushed 44mm 316L stainless steel case, which houses a Terra Cielo Mare modified ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. The watch has a 120 click uni-directional bezel with green markings. The dial, which is protected by a hardened mineral glass lens, is split in two indicating above and below water, the upper part is treated with Super-LumiNova with silvered arabic numerals and minute indicators, while the lower half is black with silvered and luminous Super-LumiNova treated numerals at 3 and 6 o'clock. A homage to the Buto Tower can be found at 9 o'clock, and the silvered hands are luminous. The Buto Diver has a large knurled screw in crown, which has an engraved divers helmet, which is protected by a crown guard. The watch has a copper medal on the caseback in homage to the legendary Italian helmet divers. The Buto Diver comes fitted with a 22mm black shark grained leather strap with matching green stitching and is water resistant to 200 metres. SOLD
