Breitling Superocean Automatic, Black Dial, Stainless Steel Bracelet

SOLD. Pre owned / used Breitling Superocean. This Breitling Superocean is from the early 2000's and is in very good condition. The Breitling Superocean has a 13mm deep, 41mm (44mm with crown) across and 48mm lug to lug highly polished 316L stainless steel case, which houses a Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement. The watch has a 60 click uni-directional bezel, which has minute markers and a luminous dot at 12 o'clock. The black dial, which is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter and luminous Arabic numerals at hour intervals. The silvered hour and minute hands are luminous, and the silvered second hand has a red tip with a luminous dot. There is also a date window at 3 o'clock. This Breitling Superocean has a large Breitling signed screw in crown, which gives the watch water resistance to 1000 metres. On the other side of the case at 10 o'clock the helium escape valve is postitioned. The watch comes fitted with a Breitling Pro I stainless steel bracelet, which has a double security clasp with divers extension. The watch comes with the original (slightly damaged) bakelite box and a soft Breitling travel pouch. As can be seen from the images, the watch is in great condition. The bracelet has some general marking to the links and the clasp and the case is in very nice condition with only some light marks here and there. The Pro I bracelet is one link short of full length, so will fit nearly all wrists comfortably. The bracelet is the later variety with screwed links and has a divers extension. The clasp works perfectly and with a good snap when closing it. The sapphire glass lens is perfect and even the outer anti reflective coating has only the odd very small mark. The watch keeps very good time, the bezel turns great without slack, overall a very nice example.
