Baume & Mercier Capeland S Chronograph, White Dial, Steel Bracelet

Baume and Mercier Capeland S automatic chronograph. This is a pre-owned but excellent condition Baume and Mercier Capeland S chronograph. This B & M chronograph has a 14mm high, 40mm (44mm with crown) brushed 316L stainless steel case, which has a highly polished and brushed uni-directional bezel. The lovely mother of pearl textured white dial, which is protected by a domed sapphire glass lens, has silvered luminous hour and minute hands, and a sliver flyback second hand with a luminous tip. The dial has three subdials, small seconds at 9 o'clock, minutes at 12 o'clock and hours at 6 o'clock. The dial has a minute track around the perimeter, has luminous line markers at hour intervals, and a date window at 3 o'clock. One the side of the case is a large Baume and Mercier screw in crown, with square chronograph pushers either side. This Baume and Mercier Capeland S chronograph is water resistant to 200 metres, and comes fitted with the original B & M stainless steel bracelet with screw links and butterfly buckle, which has all spare links. The only point of note is that the upper chronograph pusher requires a slight double push to activate the chrono feature, but works perfectly, as do all the features. This watch is pre-owned but in excellent condition, it has small scratches on the highly polished bezel area and the case, and some small marks through general use on the bracelet. This Baume and Mercier watch and comes with all spare bracelet links, inner and outer boxes, manual with stamped warranty card from 2003, and chronometer certificate. It also comes with the original receipt and three service receipts, the last being from 2007.
