Ball Hydrocarbon Classic, Grey Dial, Steel Bracelet

SOLD. Pre owned / used Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Classic automatic divers. This Ball watch is in excellent condition and was originally bought in December 2009. Ball watches use micro gas tubes to allow excellent and consistant low light legibility, and this particular watch uses 16 gas tubes on the dial and hands. The watch is also designed to operate up to -40 degrees and is specially anti magnetic and shock resistant. The Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon has a 16mm deep, 42mm (45mm with crown) across and 50mm lug to lug brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case, which houses a Swiss ETA 2892-2 automatic movement. The uni directional bezel is 120 click. The grey textured dial, which is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter and luminous line markers at hour intervals. The silvered hour, minute and second hands are luminous. There is also a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock. This Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon has a large signed screw in crown with protector, which gives the watch water resistance to 300 metres. The caseback is screwed down and deeply engraved as shown in the images. The watch comes fitted with a 20mm stainless steel bracelet, which has a double security clasp and comes fitted with all links. The watch comes with inner and outer boxes, instruction manual and stamped guarantee card from December 2009. As can be seen from the images, the watch is in great condition with only light marks on the case, bracelet and clasp. The sapphire glass lens is perfect and the watch keeps excellent time with a great power reserve. The bezel turns crisply and the clasp shuts crisply also.
